Another Weight Loss post

After today I’m going to only update one or twice a week. Today you’ll get 2 total posts, this one and my 2020 goal post (yea I know it’s late, I address that lol)

One of my big focus’s this year is on my health. I’m incredibly overweight, and I need to fix that. I’m actually a little intimidated to write this post, because I know I got a few actual fitness people who started following after my Dumbells Anime review. However, I suppose if you’re really into weight loss you’ll be supportive of people like me!

I’ve not always been overweight, but I am now, and I need to make some changes, not just for the cosmetics of it, but because my blood pressure and heart rate are to high and I’ve got hypertension and if I don’t make some changes NOW I’m going to regret it very very soon.

So that is the me right now, February 2020. I got myself some cute workout clothes, because it’ll help me be more motivated to work out it I like my clothes :D. You can see from those pictures that my sports bra does not fit at all… I’m also standing on a stool… ’cause I’m to short to take proper pictures of my body without one lol. (my daughter’s cat decided he needed some attention while I took the photos lol)

I could look worse. So here are some numbers, why? ’cause they give me a good reference as to where I am now and where I’m going. Hopefully these numbers will shrink (every one of these numbers is embarrassing… and *if* anyone is reading this, know I’m mostly posting this for my own records and motivation)

I actually track a lot more than this in a notebook, but for the purposes of this post, this is fine.

For fun, I looked at the stats I posted last time on this blog just to compare. I found it interesting- in many ways I’m doing better. My weight IS higher, I’m nearly 10lbs heavier than at my last post. HOWEVER overall all of my measurements are down. (calf and arms are about the same… the weird one is that my neck is thicker… I think it might be the result of my push early last year (which honestly only went from Jan – March) to do more toning exercises. This I think is good news because it looks like if I start doing that regularly I can reshape my body. So that’s encouraging.

So more things for today so I can compare in a month. I walked on the treadmill today- I averaged a speed of about 3.3. I only did 20 minutes because my calves were burning by the end; my body is NOT used to moving… So my goal here is that by March 1st I’ll be getting 3 miles in over 40 minutes and be able to that with a more reasonable amount of exhaustion. We all have to start somewhere right?

So that is really it for this post. I’m mostly putting this up to give myself a reference point for next month. I hope putting this online will help motivate me to keep moving and become more healthy. I think I might be watching that silly Anime I reviewed to keep myself pumped!

I found this thing and got it working. This is how you can tell I’m totally serious about losing weight 😀 hahahaha
